Back to School DIY Natural Bees Wax Wrap Workshop

Making your own Bees Wax Wraps helps support a plastic free environment as they are a great substitute for cling wrap.

Ideal for lunch boxes or superb for keeping food fresh in your fridge.
They can be expensive...but not if you make them yourself.

Beeswax wraps are made by infusing pieces of cotton with a mixture of food-grade beeswax, pine rosin and oil, usually jojoba or coconut. The waxy coating makes the cloth waterproof, but breathable.

In this workshop you get to make 3 wraps for storing or wrapping fruit, sandwiches for lunchboxes or your fridge.
No waste. Easy to clean. All natural.

Materials and guidance will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own 100% cotton material to cut into approx 30x30cm size for a bees wax wrap.
